僕の超大好きなグループMONKEY MAJIKが今年１０周年を迎えます。そんな祝うべきことを切っ掛けとし、アニバーサリーツアーが２月６日にZepp 大阪で開幕されます。フルスケジュールでご覧するにはこちらでどうぞ。今でもまだチケット購入可能かもしれませんよ！
そんな彼は３月１４日の仙台ステージが終わって３日後の１７日にニューシングルをリリースする事が決定されました！自身初となる桜ソング「SAKURA」です。SINGLE+DVD版には昨年の「TOUR'09 Fantasia」中から７曲のライブ映像が収録されています。すごく楽しみ！是非ご期待ください。もちろんORIGINAL JAPAN.でアップデートしますから。
そしてさらに、J-MELO 春フェス 2010への出演が昨日決定されました。３月３日にNHKみんなの広場ふれあいホールで行われ、May J.、JAY'ED、LEO今井、武川アイとSweet Vacationと一緒に出演します。詳しくはこちらで。

One of my favourite bands MONKEY MAJIK celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. Fitting for such a superb achievement, they start their anniversary tour on February 6th at Zepp Osaka. For the FULL SCHEDULE click here. You may still be able to purchase tickets!
Three days after their final performance in Sendai on the 14th March, MONKEY MAJIK's new single will be released on the 17th! It's called "SAKURA", Japanese for cherry blossom, and it's their first attempt of this iconic seasonal theme. Included in the SINGLE+DVD set will be live footage of 7 songs from "TOUR'09 Fantasia". I can't wait, do stay tuned because ORIGINAL JAPAN. will of course update you with the latest news.
Furthermore, MONKEY MAJIK have been invited to perform at the J-MELO Spring Festival 2010 on March 3rd in Tokyo. They will be among big artists including May J. and JAY'ED. For further DETAILS concerning this event, check here.

CHEMISTRY : アルバム＋コラボ

１月２７日に、イメージを少し変えた新曲「Period」をリリースしたばかりのCHEMISTRYは、今年２０１０年で二人が出会った時から数えた１０周年となります。まずはこのロックの効いた人気アニメのオープニングテーマの新曲を出し、２月３日にはふたつのコラボレーション作品が発売されます。Fairlifeのニューアルバム「みちくさ日和」に「乱れ雪 feat.CHEMISTRY」が収録されています。着うたの先行配信はもうスタートしているので、是非ダウンロードして聴いてみてください。また、こちらで試聴可能です。そして、富田ラボのニューアルバムにも参加しています。「残像 feat.CHEMISTRY」という楽曲が収録されています。どちらも今週発売なので是非チェックして下さい。

さらに！ケミストリー自身の新作アルバムの発売も決定されました！６枚目のオリジナルアルバムとなる「regenereation」は２月２４日にリリースされる予定です。川畑と堂珍それぞれが自分でプロデュースした「Life Goes On」の二曲からのシングルはもちろん収録されてるうえ、ソロ作品も含む立派なアルバムのようです。題名通り、これは生まれ変わった新たなCHEMISTRYを表すものです。初回限定盤のCD+DVDセットには五つのMVとインタビュー映像も楽しめます。是非今から予約！

CHEMISTRY, who released an image-changing new single "Period" on January 27th, celebrate their 10th anniversary this year since when they first met. They have opened 2010 with a rock-infused song also used in a popular TV anime, and on February 3rd two collaborative pieces are set to come out. Firstly, "MIDARE YUKI feat.CHEMISTRY" will be part of the new album from Fairlife, "MICHIKUSA BIYORI". You can listen to a preview for the song here, or alternatively you can already download the Chaku-Uta. They have also contributed to TOMITA LAB's forthcoming album with a song titled "ZANZOU feat.CHEMISTRY". Both works will be on sale this week so be on the look out and buy!
Finally, CHEMISTRY have their very own new album set for release on February 24th. It will be their 6th original album and it's called "regeneration". Not only does it include all the singles since "Life Goes On" which they each produced their own version of, but there will also be solo pieces included. As the title suggests, this album reveals an all new CHEMISTRY, which I am looking forward to hearing. The CD+DVD package contains music videos as well as interview clips too. You can pre-order it now!

初アルバム：ヒルクライム

昨年メジャーデビューしたヒルクライムのふたりはものすごい迫力で音楽シーンに登場した。ヒップホップとラップを元にし、ピアノやストリングスの優しい美しい面もあわせた新たなサウンド。レコード大賞の新人賞にも選ばれ、最高な未来があると思う。
そんな彼らが今日ファーストアルバムをリリースします。「リサイタル」には今までの３つのシングルも勿論含む全１３曲収録された作品です。その中の、２００９年９月にリリースされた「春夏秋冬」のダウンロードをどうぞ。季節を感じた切ないラブソングです。是非アルバムもチェックするように。

Today, HILCRHYME release their first album「RECITAL」after debuting last year. They entered the music scene with a storm as they brought a new sound, combining hip hop and rap with the soft, beautiful sounds of piano and strings. Having also been nominated for Best New Artist at the Japan Record Awards, I think they have a very bright future.
This album contains all three of last year's singles, with a total of 13 tracks. You can now DOWNLOAD their September release「SHUNKASHUTO」which is an elegant love ballad. Definitely do check out the album! Enjoy.

POLYSICSのベストアルバムが！

１月１３日、あさってですね、あの世界中で気に入られているデジタルロック・テクノポップグループPOLYSICSのベストアルバム「BESTOISU」。全１７曲収録されていて、ファンの方も、まだポリシックスのサウンドを知らない人にもとっての最高なベスト作品。今年でなんと１３年活動をしてきたというポリシックス。このアルバムを切っ掛けにし、新しいチャプターに入るのでしょうか。楽しみです。是非一番最近のシングル「Young OH! OH!」のPVを見てください！おかしすぎw こちらからも曲が聴けます。

In two days time, on the 13th, internationally famous techno/digital rock group POLYSICS' new best hit album「BESTOISU」will be out on sale. With 17 tracks recorded, it's a brilliant piece for both fans and for those who are yet to have experienced the POLYSICS sound. This year is the 13th year they have been active for. I hope that this album sets them on their way for another new chapter in their music. Here is the video for their latest single「YOUNG OH! OH!」, I think it's hilarious. SEAMO今年第一弾シングル。

２月１７日に、SEAMOがニューシングルを出すことが決まりした。それもまた両A面シングルです。「終わりと始まり / Lost Boy」のふたつの曲はなかなか良い感じに対照のある組み合わせだと思います。ひとつは卒業をテーマに書き上げたもので、出会いと別れの複雑な気持ちを語る曲で、「Lost Boy」はTVアニメ「怪談レストラン」の主題歌でもあった、かなり印象強いロックナンバーです。去年の十月に発売されたベストアルバムに続き、これからもどんどん色々な方向へと新たな音楽を作って行くようです。
そんなシーモさんの一番最近のシングルから選んだ「My Answer」のダウンロードをどうぞ。

On February 17th, rap artist SEAMO will be releasing his new single, his first of 2010. And it's a double A-side. The two main songs of「OWARI TO HAJIMARI / Lost Boy」show a good contrast but fits together quite nicely. One is written along the theme of graduation, where he ventures the complex emotions involved in the meeting and separating. The latter, which was used as the theme tune for a TV anime, is a rock-influenced song with a lot of impact.
I think SEAMO will continue to experiment with and produce music in all directions and I thoroughly look forward to it. Today you can DOWNLOAD a song taken from his most recent single「MY ANSWER」. Enjoy.

This awesome cap just landed. NEW ERA JAPAN have released a new 59FIFTY called the MOUTON SHEEPSKIN. It's made of 100% leather upper with white fur on the inside to keep your head warm. It's even up to the edge of the brim so you know all the fashion-keen people can see it. I think it's brilliant especially for this cold season. It has good humour and I think it's pretty stylish. Anyone want to buy it and show me a photo?

NEW ERA JAPAN

早くもMISONO次のカバー作。

２００９年は素晴らしい一年だったはず。misonoは様々なバラエティーに出て芸人ステータスを上げ、大晦日には紅白歌合戦へサプライズ出場で姉の倖田來未と「It's all Love!」を披露して年を閉めた。そして０９年の９月にリリースしたカバーアルバムがヒットし、今年は早速その「misonoカバALBUM2」のリリースも決定。１月２７日に発売されます。収録曲はまだ未定ですが、絶対おもしろい作品であると思います。是非買ってみてください。そしてさらに、２月２４日にニューシングルも出るらしいです。今年も音楽への活躍が大きくなりそうです。

For MISONO, 2009 was a great year as she upped her celebrity status by featuring in a lot of TV, and she finished the year on New Years Eve performing live as a surprise guest on KOUHAKU with her sister KODA KUMI. She released a hit cover album in September and, already, the second one is set for release on 27th January. The tracklist for「」is still unannounced but I'm sure it will be a engaging album. Also, her next single is also to come out this year on 24th February so stay tuned for that! It looks like 2010 is going to be just as successful.

ついに２０１０年になりました。今年もORIGINAL JAPAN.での活動をどんどんして行きたいと思います。
まずはYUIさんのニューシングルです！１月２０日にリリースされる「GLORIA」は応援ソングとして書かれたとても力強く、背中を押すような歌です。将来のことを考えている高校生たちなどに響くこの曲はとてもソウルフルなナンバー。１０月に発売された両A面シングル「It's all too much/Never say die」に続くものです。

I think it's perfect for students like me as we think about our future. This comes two months after the double A-side single「It's all too much/Never say die」.
