クリスマス前にはいきものがかり。

３人グループいきものがかりが今日新作アルバムを発売しました。ハジマリノウタ。５月にリリースした「ふたり」から先月の「なくもんか」まで全５曲のシングルも含まれた、さわやかな作品です。そんな同名曲のほか、今回はメンバーそれぞれがボーカルに挑戦。
僕はもう聴いてみましたが、最高なアルバムだと思う。今年もたっぷりと、映画の主題歌になったり、音楽世界に大活躍してきたいきものがかりのこのアルバムは気楽に聴けてリラックスもできる、本当に今のポップの中で最も良いアルバムだと思います。今すぐ買って聴いてみよう！最後に、じゃあ７月に出た、ナルトのオープニングテーマであった「ホタルノヒカリ」をダウンロードどうぞ！

Three piece act IKIMONO GAKARI today released their latest album「HAJIMARI NO UTA」, their 4th one to date. It includes all five songs from the singles since May. Also, all three members have tried a vocal role in at least one song each.
I've already given the album a listen and it's great. They have worked hard all year, contributing to the music scene as much as ever, and this album wraps up the year beautifully. It's a really easy listening sort of album, and it's certainly one of the best in the pop genre. I recommend you go out and buy it now!

いきものがかり｜エピックレコード

来年はSOFFetが新曲を。

僕がとても好きなあの気楽なポップ／ラップ音楽を作るデゥオ、SOFFet、の新曲が１月２７日にコンピレーションアルバムに収録され、発売されます。そのアルバムのバックバンド Tokyo Junkastic Bandと一緒に作ったのは「Beautiful Smile 〜NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.〜」。この曲は美容整形・美容外科の高須クリニックの新CMとタイアップが決まっています。オンエアは１２月２４日から。初の全歌詞英語というチャレンジを迎えた歌だそうです。楽しみ。
そんなソフェは１月から全国ツアーが始まります。今回は二つのユニークな形で行います。「SOFFet Jam the Universe Tour 2010」と「SOFFet Acoustic Jam -premium seat- EXCLUSIVE JAZZY STYLE」は１月２４日開幕で３月４日に東京渋谷でエンド。詳しくはこちら。

Pop/Rap duo SOFFET will be releasing their new single as part of a compilation album, working with the official back band TOKYO JUNKASTIC BAND. The song's called「BEAUTIFUL SMILE 〜NO MUSIC, NO LIFE.〜」and it will be used in a new TV commercial for TAKASU CLINIC, which will be airing from December 24th. The song is their first in which all lyrics are in English, a cool challenge.
The guys will also be touring nationally as of January 24th. They have chosen to opt for two unique styles for the live concerts, one where all fans will be standing, and the other is a special acoustic jazz performance, which sounds pretty awesome. For DETAILS click here.

誰が何を歌うのか。

大晦日放送のNHK紅白歌合戦で出演するアーティストはこないだ決まりました。今日は各出場歌手が歌う曲目が発表された。僕が楽しみにしている人のピックアップはこちら：

・flumpool - 星に願いを。今年の２月にリリースしたのりのりなポップソング。今ではすごく注目されているフランプールの披露がお楽しみです。
・絢香 - みんな空の下。絢香はこのステージで歌った後は、音楽活動休止に入ってしまいます。感動的なパフォーマンスを期待しています。
・EXILE - Someday。メンバーが１４人に増えてから初の紅白。新しいダンスメンバーの迫力を感じさせるためのアップな曲を選びました。
・いきものがかり - YELL。「じょいふる」と両A面で発売された最新のシングルから選ばれたバラード。ORIGINAL JAPAN.でも紹介したこの気持ちのこもった美しい曲を披露。
・レミオロメン - 粉雪。２００５年にヒットした彼らの代表曲を演奏してくれます。今の季節にぴったしだけど、最近の曲も聴きたいなっていう気持ちもあるな。
・SMAP - そっときゅっと~世界に一つだけの花。今年唯一のシングルであった「そっときゅっと」、そしてあの名曲「世界に一つだけの花」を（また）披露。最近はみんな個人の仕事とかで忙しくて、あまりスマップとしての音楽活動はないね。とは言え、やっぱりあの５人のパフォーマンスはいつも面白い。
・そして今回紅白のスペシャルメドレーやリミックスを用意してくれるのは嵐、AKB48、NYC boysとDREAMS COME TRUE。楽しみ。

NEW ERAにスヌーピーが。

NEW ERAのピーナッツシリーズが発売されました。上のセットは今こちらで買うことができます。とてもシンプルだけど、クールでスタイリッシュ、そしてちょっとキュート。このストリート用キャップ会社がアメリカの大人気漫画「ピーナッツ」とコラボ。商品の中にはあの有名なキャラクター達が集まっています。スヌーピーやウッドストックなど。最高だと思います！絶対欲しい。お値段は￥６０９０。
２つ目の画像に写っているシリーズはパート２。こちらは来年の一月に到着するらしいです。楽しみ！こっちの方がもうちょっとカラフルな、笑えそうなデザインが含まれています。

NEW ERA have collaborated with the legendary American cartoon series「PEANUTS」to produce some stylish and cool caps. They're simple and a little cute. The ones in the top image are already on sale now and you can BUY them here. It's got one for all the famous characters including of course SNOOPY and WOODSTOCK. I think they're awesome and I definitely want one. The price tag is ￥6,090.
The second picture shows part 2 of the Peanuts series and is set to come out in January next year. I can't wait. These are a bit more colourful and humourous but equally awesome.

童子-T 4ever

昨日童子-Tがニューアルバムをリリースした。一年前にラブソングいっぱいの「12 Love Stories」を出し、これは４枚目のフルアルバムです。今回はYU-A、CHEMISTRY、清水翔太などのR&Bアーティストも参加して作ってきたものです。
童子-Tはこのアルバムで４つのテーマについて語っています。一つ目は愛。「12 Love Stories」の流れを引き継いだピュアなラブソングでオープニング。CHEMISTRYとのあのコラボソング「あの頃・・・」もそのカテゴリーに入ります。そしてボーナストラックで収録されているのはそのペアソング「あの日・・・」。はい、両方とも含まれています。ダウンロードはもう既にこのブログで紹介されています。次のテーマはもうちょっとセクシャルな意味を持ち、「夜」って感じ。その後に来るのは「俺モノ」という彼自身が自分でライムなどで遊んで作った曲。あまり深い意味はないと。逆に最後のテーマはメッセージ、童子-Tからの言葉。
このように、童子-Tのハートが一つ一つの曲に入っていて、各曲に意味があるとこが特に好きです。聴いてて彼の気持ちや思いがすごく伝わってくる力強いアルバムです。是非買ってみて下さい。今回ORIGINAL JAPAN.では「想い feat. YU-A」をダウンロードどうぞ。「わかれ」の切なさや不満の感情が強くこもっている曲なので聴いてみて下さい。

Yesterday, hip hop artist DOHZI-T released his 4th full album「4ever」. It features some of R&B's biggest names including YU-A, CHEMISTRY and SHIMIZU SHOUTA.
The album can be split into 4 parts for 4 different themes. First up is LOVE. He starts the album where he left off in his previous one「12 LOVE STORIES」which is full of love songs. In this theme includes the two collaboration songs with CHEMISTRY, which are still available to download on ORIGINAL JAPAN. The following theme is more adult and sexual including one with BENI. The next is simply DOHZI-T experimenting with word play and rhyme, and there isn't so much deep meaning behind the songs, but it's something that can be enjoyed. The final theme is all about him and his message to you. The lyrics come from his heart and speak out to the listener.
I think this is why I like this album so much. It's really personal and you can relate to it because he's thought through each song strongly and his emotions and feelings are well communicated. Today you can DOWNLOAD「OMOI feat. YU-A」which is about the moments after a break up. It's definitely worth a listen, enjoy.

ザ Queens of J-POP。

今日はクリスタル・ケイと安室奈美恵、それぞれのニューアルバムの発売日です。二人は今のJ-POPの中で一番尊敬されててもいいという女性アーティストたち。そんな二人の新しい作品を一緒に紹介しようかと思いました。

Arguably the two most respected female artists in J-POP, CRYSTAL KAY and AMURO NAMIE both release their new albums today.


まずは安室奈美恵。こちらの新アルバム「PAST＜FUTURE」は昨年のベストアルバム「BEST FICTION」に続くもので、全１２曲収録されている２年ぶりのオリジナルアルバム。安室さんは「すべてをカラにして新しいスタートを切りたい」と言っ てました。今までで初めての楽曲を挑戦してみて作り上げたこのアルバムはなかなか面白い作品だと思います。そしてカバーは去年のそのベストアルバムのジャ ケットを破りちぎっているとても攻撃的な強い印象。
このアルバムにはなんと６個もPVを用意しているらしいですが、今回はリード曲である「FAST CAR」をダウンロードどうぞ。

First, AMURO NAMIE's new one「PAST＜FUTURE」comes after her hit compilation album of last year「BEST FICTION」. It includes 12 brand new songs and she has said that she is looking for a new start. She's explored various genres in this album and it is indeed refreshing for her profile. The cover artwork shows quite an aggressive message as she tears apart the cover for her previous CD.

CHEMISTRYの２０１０年第一シングル決定。

ケミストリーの新曲の題名が今日分かった。「Period」。CHEMISTRYにしては「かなりロックな曲」になってると聴いています。この曲は、MBS・TBS系全国ネットTVアニメ「鋼の錬金術師 FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST」の１月から放送される第四期のオープニングテーマに決まりました。なので、オープニングに流れるアニメと曲が一体になると堂珍が言ってました。そして、アニメ好きのふたりは「お話を頂いて本当にうれしいです」と。超楽しみ！
そして実はエンディングテーマの主題歌かも決定されました。SCANDALの新曲「瞬間センチメンタル」です。２００６年に結成された女子高生のロックバンドは今年の１０月に初の降るアルバムを発売したばかりで今も大注目されている。そして今回は、１０月１４日リリースされたニューシングル「夢見るつばさ」をダウンロードどうぞ！
今まではスキマスイッチやYUIなども主題歌に選ばれました、今回の二組もなかなか良い選択肢だと思います。

Today, the title of CHEMISTRY's new single was announced.「PERIOD」. It's a new aspect to their growing list of genres as this is quite a rock tune. And it's fitting as it's been chosen as the opening theme tune to popular TBS animation「HAGANE NO RENKINJUTSUSHI FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST」. It starts to air from January next year. The pair, who themselves enjoy anime, have said that this song suits the action of the opening very well and that they were very honoured when first approached about it. I can't wait to hear it.
Also, there will be a new artist for the ending theme tune as well. It's set to be SCANDAL with their upcoming single「SHUNKAN SENTIMENTAL」. They are a female high school rock band
who formed back in 2006 and they've actually just released their first full album this year. Today, you can DOWNLOAD their latest single from October「YUME MIRU TSUBASA」. Enjoy.
These two artists join the others who have also been selected for theme tunes, among the likes of SUKIMA SWITCH and YUI, and I feel they are a very good addition. Both songs will be released next year.

JAY CHOUとナイキのスポーツシューズ。

この冬、台湾の大スターであるアーティスト/俳優ジェイ・チョウの店PHANTACiがナイキとのコラボレーションで、こんなスニーカーが発売されます。モデルはスポーツのAIR MAX 1。「ザ・グランドピアノ」と名付けられたこのトレーナー靴はチョウ本人とPHANTACiのデザイナーが一緒にデザインしたもの。
ピアノのように、黒と白のシンプルさがうまく表現されている上、明るいショッキングピンク色はクールな仕上げを作る効果が出ていると思う。シンプルだけど目立つというこの組み合わせが僕の好きなポイント。欲しいですw。発売は１２月１２日です、お楽しみに。

This winter, Taiwan's star singer/actor JAY CHOU's retail store PHANTACi has joined forces with NIKE to produce these hot AIR MAX 1 sneakers. It's been masterminded by JAY CHOU himself and some PHANTACi designers, and they've called the shoe「The Grand Piano」.
Like a piano, the black and white colours have been used to show the simplicity, and the flourescent pink has given it a cool and sharp finish. The clash between between the simple and complex is what has attracted me most. I really want a pair haha. The release date is 12th December. Not too long now.

昨日、東京国際フォーラム ホールAで「BoA THE XMAS LIVE 2009」が行われた。集まった５０００人にファンたちはクリスマスソングの特別披露や、あのマイケルジャクソンのカバー曲も見ることができた。BoAは、ものすごく尊敬してきたジャクソンのヒット「Billie Jean」を歌い、ムーンウォークまでまね。

Yesterday「BoA THE XMAS LIVE 2009」took place in Tokyo, where 5000 lucky fans got to see BoA perform some festive songs and even some Michael Jackson covers. She respected MJ very much and she even did the moon walk during her rendition of「BILLIE JEAN」.
Her new single「MAMORITAI ~White Wishes~」, her 30th single, is coming out soon and the music video is already available. The song is a beautiful medium ballad, perfect for Christmas. I like her hip hop music a lot, but the slow stuff she sings with her soft voice is really great. The release date is 9th December but ORIGINAL JAPAN. has already found you a DOWNLOAD link so go on, enjoy. The single comes in 3 packs, including a TALES OF GRACES edition, which is a Nintendo Wii game of which the song is the theme. そして、僕が在住のイングランドも応援します。Group Cは割と楽の方かな？きっと問題なしで次のステージへと通過すると予想。イングランドと日本が当たる可能性は低いが、そんな試合があるとしたら準決勝か決勝だけ。んん、ありえないねw
とにかく、６月１１日の開幕が待てない！素晴らしいサッカーが見れる夏になると思います。楽しみ！みんなで応援しましょう。

１２月といえば、、、

まずは菅原紗由理のニューシングル「君がいるから」が明日発売です。今年の４月にミニアルバムでデビューをしたばかりの菅原紗由理さんの２枚目のシングル。なんと「FINAL FANTASY XIII」のゲームのテーマソングであるこの曲はきれいな声で歌う最高なバラード。ダウンロードはこちらです。すごく彼女の声が好き、これからもどんどん活動をするよう期待しています。
